Dear Honey, how do you know when a room is 'done'?

ear Honey, how do you know when a room is 'done'?
Done is dead. Interiors, like people, are meant to evolve. They should welcome the unexpected and leave room for discovery. A room should never be so finished that it feels embalmed. Think of it like this: architecture as your bones, furnishings your wardrobe, and the styling your accessories. The bones and the wardrobe may be in place, but the accessories? Ever-changing. That piece of art you haven't found yet.. or the chair you'll stumble across in Paris and ship home on a whim. If you walk into a room and feel like there's nothing left to dream about, then you've overdecorated it into submission. Better to leave a little undone, a little unfinished. Because a home that grows with you is far more interesting than one that poses as perfect.
So... is a room ever really done? Only if you've lost your curiosity…

What would you ask Honey?
