Set on a lush Montecito property, this 1950s ranch was always more about the feeling than the house itself.

We approached the project with restraint, opening the architecture to the landscape and allowing the interiors to move more fluidly between indoors and out. The focus was on ease, with spaces that shift naturally with light, air, and daily life.

Material choices remain quiet and tactile, layered with vintage pieces that feel collected over time.

It lives lightly, with a sense of rhythm and just enough edge to keep it interesting.
