We invited a group of artists we love to take over our Montecito studio. Not as a traditional gallery, but as a living, breathing residency. Paintings leaned where they wanted to, objects found their place, and the house became something in between a salon and a stage…
The House of Honey Artist Residency was about proximity - to the work, to the artists, and to the process itself. Guests moved through the space the way you would a home, not a white box gallery… discovering pieces, starting conversations, and maybe leaving with something they didn’t expect.
For us, design has always been about more than how something looks. It’s about what it does. And when you bring the right people - and the right work - into a room, things tend to get interesting…
