A Curated Dialogue Between Fantasy and Invention
For The HiLight Battersea in London, House of Honey designed two narrative-driven residences: The Evelyn and The Ethel. Conceived less as traditional show homes and more as immersive curatorial experiences, House of Honey brought together an international collective of artists, designers, and makers to create apartments that explore two distinct emotional worlds... fantasy and invention.
Inspired by trailblazing performer Evelyn Dove, The Evelyn embraces luminosity, glamour, and theatricality. The interiors move between softness and bravado; blush tones, sculptural silhouettes, and layered materiality create spaces that feel expressive, romantic, and slightly undone. Bespoke furnishings, including the Lulu La Fortune x House of Honey x Meg Jorgensen Morris Sofa, Wanderlust Edition, sit alongside works by Marcela Cure, Isabel & Co, and Sloydlab, creating an environment that feels collected, rather than composed.

In contrast, The Ethel draws from the life and spirit of writer and activist Ethel Mannin. Conceived as a space for invention, the apartment leans moodier and more introspective.
Throughout both residences... art, furniture, and materiality were approached as acts of storytelling rather than decoration, creating spaces that feel immersive, emotionally charged, and deeply personal. The Evelyn and The Ethel blur the line between gallery, narrative, and lived experience.
House of Honey also serves as the recommended interior design partner for purchasers within The HiLight Battersea, offering bespoke design services for the development’s private residences.
