House of Honey in Pasadena: A Study in Expression
Color, Character, and the Art of Living Well
Just behind the Gamble House in Pasadena, this newly built residence had scale, presence, and plenty of ambition, but it needed a clearer point of view.
We approached it as a story in the making, creating a layered, color-driven interior for a couple bringing their lives together. Curves, bold tones, and a few irreverent moments shift the house away from the expected. There are small surprises throughout, including a scratch-and-sniff elevator that leaves quite a sweet impression. It now feels personal, expressive, and fully its own.
